Felt Monogram Initials

I just happened upon a fun project on Pinterest and thought that I would make for my sister, Mrs. S.

She created a beautiful J monogram that she embellished with embroidery. I love her style, you should stop by and check out her work.

My version is made out of felt, scrapbook paper, vintage paper, and a few craft punches.  I popped it into a silver Martha Stewart frame and --- voilà a sweet gift for the sis!

I don't think I have told you how much I love craft punches yet? I have started to collect an inordinate amount of them in order to make cards, collages, and the occasional scrapbook page. They are so easy to use and always provide great results. I almost don't know how I lived without them!  Here are few of my absolute faves:

Another Fab Collectible...Lenci Dolls

I love dolls and I love collecting. Some of my favorites are vintage Lenci dolls. They are felt dolls with pouty faces and I just think they are beautiful. They also happen to have a very interesting history. To learn more about them, click here.

R. John Wright, Inc. is an American company that makes new dolls in a similar style. Here are a few of my favorites by this company out of Vermont. They are truly pieces of art!
